Eloise Du-Luart
2013 Duathlon World Championships, Amateur - Gold/1st
Winning her first amateur multisports race barely six months after starting to compete - the Duathlon World Championships, no less - Eloise du Luart turned professional in 2018. Working with Edge to hone her training and nutrition, she is looking forward to a strong season competing as a pro in Ironman 70.3 events.
Eloise's Product is...
Edge has helped me take out the guesswork on how my body is responding to both training and daily stresses. This objective scientific measure means I know longer worry about how I feel or whether I should or shouldn't do something, as I have the answer from my results.
Eloise du Luart had her first professional season in 2018, but had already established her sporting credentials with a string of podiums on the amateur circuit, including a gold at the Duathlon World Championships won barely six months after getting into multisports. Since then she has competed in a number of duathlons and triathlons in the UK and Europe.
While her 2019 performance has been overshadowed by injury, she has big plans for 2020 and onwards, including establishing herself firmly on the professional Ironman 70.3 circuit.
Du Luart has spoken openly about dealing with anorexia – an area of expertise for several members of the Edge medical team – and knows first-hand how important balancing nutrition with activity is for overall health and performance.
